Aishwariya graduated with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy in India and then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University Medical Center. She has worked in various settings, ranging from acute care to home health. After a childhood injury led her to her first experience with physical therapy, Aish was exposed early on to a side of medicine that focuses significantly more on improving function rather than masking symptoms. She became intrigued, which steered her to explore how movement can be incorporated in various ways during the rehab process to both alleviate pain and improve function. She is extremely passionate about making exercise accessible and is a movement optimist who wants to ensure movement is available to all. Aish believes in a treatment approach that is functional and resonates with the patient. She understands how exercise needs to be modified to meet the demands of each individual and is passionate about doing just that. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city, searching for a good workout class, or curling up with a good book to read.
