About Dr. Akie Kido

Akie holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School. She has clinical experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and with the geriatric population. Akie enjoys designing individualized plans to help patients localize and decrease pain, aiming to achieve their optimal level of function. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is fluent in both Japanese and English. Akie has also completed the Female Chain Reaction seminar to further understand the unique biomechanics of women and to treat dysfunction in the pelvic core neuromuscular system.
