Akshar Patel is a licensed physical therapist who has lived in the Pearland area almost his entire life. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX, in 2021. His experience ranges from treating sports and orthopedic-related injuries to vestibular and neurological dysfunctions. He has worked at our North Loop location and previously at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, TX. His hobbies include volunteering at his temple, spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, playing sports, reading, and being outdoors.

Akshar was very through with my father. My dad is almost 70 and he can be a difficult patient. Akshar was calm and communicated everything so the sessions were beneficial to my dad. He also gave us pointers on what dad could do at home to help with the injury.
