“Great experience! It was my first time doing PT and I was a little nervous going in. He was super informative, had models to clearly explain everything, and was super friendly. He was also very educated in hEDS, which I don’t find often, so it was great to have a provider who was already informed and able to take that into account. I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment and learning more going forward.”

About Dr. Alex De La Paz
Alex graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from Western Washington University in 2009 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Regis University in 2013. He met his wife and best friend, Kelley, in Physical Therapy school and moved to Oregon after graduation. Alex and Kelley live in SW Portland with their dog Kai and enjoy hiking and traveling the globe whenever they get the chance. Alex is deeply passionate about learning and has accumulated over 325 hours of continuing education, most of which have been taught by the Postural Restoration Institute. In 2015, he opened Root & Branch Physical Therapy, and by 2019, he was named Top Physical Therapist in Portland Monthly Magazine's Wellness Issue, as voted by his peers.
