“I had a very positive experience with Dr. Kim. I chose him after researching physical therapists with specific experience in treating scoliosis, and his background and training truly stood out. Dr. Kim has an excellent bedside manner and did not rush the appointment at all.
During my visit, he took the time to explain my condition and discussed how therapy would focus on developing awareness of a neutral body position, using targeted exercises and breathing techniques for long term care. We worked on several exercises during the session, and I especially appreciated his incorporation of acupuncture, which really helped with muscle tension I’ve been dealing with for months. He even sent me home with a stretch band so I could continue practicing.
The office is clean and has a calm atmosphere with soft spa music, it was a pleasant break in the middle of my workday. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend Dr. Kim!”

Hi, I’m Dr. Alex Kim.
I am a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in Sports Medicine, Orthopedics and Neurological Rehab. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican University in NY and hold advanced certifications in Spinal Correction, Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Myo Combing Graston Technique, Schroth Methods for Scoliosis, Sports Massage and Taping, Bobath & PNF for Neurologic Deficit patients, and hold advanced certification of diagnostic sonography for spines, upper & lower extremities.
Furthermore, my interest in a more detailed and in-depth approach to pain management led me to explore traditional oriental medicine and holistic treatments.
I became interested in treatments that went beyond muscles, bones, nerves, movement, and posture, focusing instead on deeper, more fundamental changes within the body.
The world of traditional oriental medicine, with its Eastern philosophical and patient-centered approach, which is difficult to understand through Western medicine alone guided me to an even deeper understanding of healing.
Ultimately, I am now exploring a unique treatment method that harmonizes the strengths of both Eastern and Western medicine, aiming to provide the safest and most effective treatment for my patients.
This approach has become a distinguishing characteristic that sets me apart from other therapists. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations to improve mobility and function following musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems.

I found Dr. Kim through Zoc Doc. And I’m so happy I did! I have now visited the office twice and both times have been a great experience so far.
I have been suffering from awful neck pain, within the first visit I was able to leave with some relief. I’ll be finishing my PT here for the next few weeks,
Finally feeling hopeful to start feeling better.
