“In the past, PT sessions only gave me a little improvement but never satisfactory results. I have seen Alex over a month now and he is so knowledgeable that not only he figured out the sauce of my problems but also he showed me how other little issues were connected to the pain I have. His technique was very unique just like untangling the complex wire. I realized I have more problems than I originally thought and it was slow progress at first, but a month later, everything started to fit in the right places. Almost there.”

“Alex took time and evaluated my condition carefully. He is energetic and made my exercise fun. This was my first appointment so it’s early to tell how far I can go. But his approach is different from other PT I had in the past, so I’m hopeful.”

He’s really funny and easy to get along with! Made physical therapy seem a lot less intimidating and we had a fun time.

I am so happy to have found Alex! As an athlete with chronic injuries, I've seen dozens of PTs over the years. Alex is a gem. He's got a unique approach that has helped where other modalities didn't. He seems to care very much about his patients and truly wants to you be pain free!

Alex Neufeld is a skilled Physical Therapist and a terrific human being. I started out with terrible posture, curled into myself, unable to keep my head up for long periods of time. Alex diagnosed the problems and began treatment. Unlike other PTs whom I have seen, Alex doesn't just give you exercises to do while you are there and at home (he does that, too), but he actually treats the problems with immediate, noticeable results. He is always learning and researching ways to help his patients, and he explains what he is doing, why, and how it works. He has enabled me to see what is in front of me instead of what is on the ground. We're still working on the problems, but the difference since I started with him is pretty remarkable.

My therapist, Alex, is top of the line--I would not trade him for anyone. The two women at the front desk, however, are right out of central casting: angry, minority women who think every white person is their enemy. (Full disclosure: I am one of the enemy.) I was embarrassed to write this, but someone needs to straighten out this front desk. Optum needs to know.
My first visit for chronic sciatica was engaging, informative, and effective. This was the most thorough and thoughtful treatment I've received so far, as I have tried other physical therapist, and I left feeling a physical difference for the first time. The office staff was friendly and very helpful. I quickly booked my next four appointments before I left.

Alex is the best physical therapist I've ever had. I've had an obscure set of symptoms that other doctors haven't been able to diagnose, but Alex has been really passionate and motivated to find out what's going on and to reduce symptoms as much as possible. He's been especially good at understanding how to release nerve restriction to improve range of motion and using creative problem solving to figure out what exercises might improve my unknown condition.

Dr. Neufeld ("Alex" as he asked to be called) is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and down-to-earth. This was my first time having any sort of physical therapy and Alex made me feel very comfortable.

I appreciate how THOROUGH my evaluation was. I have been to other PTs before and this was the first time an exercise had immediate results. I’m very relieved.

The therapist, Alex--11 out of 10. (I hope he has seen This is Spinal Tap.) The office, however, is your typical office: They contact you 12 times to fill out forms, confirm your insurance, confirm your appointment, confirm that you are coming, ask you if you have already arrived when you have already arrived--the whole 9 yards, oy veh. But, there are much worse.

Alex is very well versed in rehab medicine. The initial consult was very thorough. He adapts well to your needs and does everything in his power to help you. Very genuine guy.
Thankful for his holistic approach, positive attitude, and knowledge. I highly recommend him as I’ve been in and out of physical therapy for 20 years and this is the first time I’ve encountered a therapist who is incredibly thoughtful and thorough.

Smooth experience. Doctor was friendly and knew what he was doing. Clearly translated medical lingo to me in a way that I could understand. Had written up a full PT plan by the end of my first visit.

Alex is a god damn champion and miracle worker. I didn’t think I would progress the way I have in such a short time and I’m amazed at how knowledgeable he is regarding not only my injury but also the rest of the body and it’s connecting parts. He has not only helped me with my injury but he’s been able to fix other little issue I’ve had by simple tweaks that I would never have thought about. If you want someone who knows their stuff and also knows how to get it done then Alex is your man. Oh and above it all he’s a really fun and funny guy. Book him yesterday and every other day too if you are thinking about PT. SERIOUSLY!!!!!

Alex is a truly great PT - he focuses not only on the initial injury (in my case, a severe shoulder strain) but also assessed the surrounding muscles, how I used them, and if there were any underlying issues to prevent future injuries. It was refreshing to see a doctor who was focused on a holistic treatment approach, rather than someone who would treat JUST the injury. Since seeing him, my injury has not only dramatically improved, but my whole upper body has become more stable and I am more aware of how to prevent future injuries. I would wholeheartedly recommend Alex to anyone who would ask.

Alex is great; smart, able to look at the problem in multiple directions - a real understanding of body connection and a ton of tricks in his repertoire. Everything you want in a PT.
Alex is an absolutely incredible Physical Therapist and was a godsend to my recovery. I suffered from a tragic golf cart accident which shattered my left elbow, broke my ulna, radius, and thumb. I had thumb & elbow reconstruction surgery which left my arm beyond painful and with limited to no mobility. Alex not only provided the upmost professional and supportive physical rehabilitation care, but was there to answer all the questions that I didn’t even know I had yet. From the science, to the practical work, to the mental adjustment disability requires, Alex could not have done more to help. The knowledge he had impressed me into comfort and he continued to go above and beyond to ensure we were doing all that we could to make a full recovery (even performed extra research and studied specific case studies relating to my extremities). Alex is personable, professional, informative, AND has great a sense of humor. 11/10 recommend :)

I can't thank Dr. Alex Neufeld enough. A month before the NYC Marathon, I sustained a foot injury and Alex knew just what to do. He instantly made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. He was able to provide an accurate assessment of the issue and came up with an efficient treatment plan to target the injury and related problems. I felt better after one session, but just six sessions later I ran the marathon pain-free. I couldn't believe how well his techniques worked and now won't shut up about how much PT has positively impacted my life. Post-marathon, I'm still working with Alex and I just couldn't recommend him enough as a provider, and personally he is just a pleasure to work with. Don't walk- run to see him! (But if you can't run, he'll help you with that too!)

I was referred to Alex for a right lower back issue, which was resolved within a week. Other issues were brought to his attention e.g., Hip pain, calf pain. Once he deduced they were probably related, we knocked each issue out consecutively. I would recommend Alex to anyone.

I would strongly recommend Alex Neufield. He spent time understanding my problem and created a plan of care that I'm confident about. He communicated what he was doing clearly and created a relaxed environment.
