I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and completed my graduate education at Capella University, where I obtained a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in family counseling. Throughout my career, I have had a great passion for working with families and children and have over seven years of experience working specifically with families, children, and teens. I have previous experience working at a partial hospitalization program as a Counselor, providing group therapy tailored toward various life challenges and mental health disorders for children and teenagers. In addition to group therapy, I have also worked with families and individuals struggling with challenges including conflicts with family dynamics, life stage transitions, and behavioral concerns.
I follow a philosophy that everyone has a unique story to share, and as a therapist, I am here to build a strong foundation for you to share your story and encourage your personal growth and resiliency. My main approaches to treatment include Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Family Systems, and Structural Therapy.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, finding new recipes to cook, researching and planning new places to travel, playing the piano, and visiting close friends.
