Getting to know Margaret Maxwell
Welcome! As a therapist, I have a warm and authentic relationship with my clients. At times, life can be overwhelming and challenging, and I offer services to children, adolescents, and adults to help navigate those times. My hope is to provide a nonjudgmental space where clients feel they can be honest about their thoughts and feelings while also learning and implementing new tools and skills to improve their lives.
I am passionate about working not only with children and adolescents but also with the parents, caregivers, and service providers in their lives. Today’s fast-paced world can feel lonely and demanding for many individuals. Sessions are tailored to personal needs and therefore will not look the same for every client.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
