About Dr. Alexandra Sly

Dr. Alexandra Wood is a clinic director at Exchange PT. She earned her B.S. in Human Biology from North Carolina State University in 2016 and her DPT from Duke University in 2019. During her graduate studies, Dr. Wood completed clinical rotations at a skilled nursing facility in Maryland, a workers compensation outpatient orthopedics clinic in Colorado and a pediatric outpatient clinic in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. Wood has experience working at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in North Carolina, specializing in pre/post rehab, functional gait training and chronic pain. She also enjoys treating the weekend warrior, the daily stress of the desk jobs, and restoring functional mobility in the aging population. She looks forward to serving the community and expanding her knowledge and skills with the team at Exchange PT. Dr. Wood is passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive clinical environment for all patients, including individualized treatment plans best suited to help patients reach their goals.
