About Dr. Alexis Allmaier
Alexis graduated from Boston University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, in 2014. Alexis has experience with a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions and utilizes her manual skills and knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities to ensure that every patient receives quality, individualized care. She specializes in treatment of the cervical spine and sacroiliac joint but also enjoys working with athletes of all ages. In her free time, Alexis enjoys reading, traveling, and swimming.

I've been working with Alexis for several years off and on. She is my go-to PT. Most recently she helped me recover from a (mild) tear in my calf. I'm back to running and biking without pain. I will continue to come to Alexis for any future issues!

I have seen Alexis for 3 months for my knee and she saved my life!!! I am a huge runner and was unable to do 1 mile without pain. After 2 months, I was able to do my normal 4 mile run and after 3 months, I was back to full strength. She's Amazing!
