My name is Alyssa (she/her) and I am a LPCC-S and LICDC in the state of Ohio. I received my BA in psychology from Kent State University, and my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University in 2017. There, I specialized in addiction treatment. I have experience practicing in community mental health, private practice, and the prison system with adolescents through adults. I have since focused on trauma informed therapy and am trained in EMDR.
I have experience with a wide variety of issues including, anxiety, mood disorders/bipolar disorder, addictions, and PTSD.
I take a very client centered approach to allow the client to have control over what we navigate in therapy. Asking for help is a big step, and together, we will create an individualized treatment that benefits your goals for therapy.
