“I have worked with Andrew 5 or 6 times over the last decade, as various issues have needed attention. Usually the issues have been lower back or neck related, discs etc, but I have also worked with Andrew on my hamstrings when one of them was really tight and my foot when I suffered a stress fracture. All this to say, I have a lot of experience with Andrew and have nothing but the highest praise. He is nothing short of miraculous. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, effective at diagnosing problems and prescribing treatment, and his demeanor is calm and self-assured. He has "fixed" every one of my issues. I will call him whenever I have a problem.”

I worked for Andrew for a few years and was always amazed by how attuned he was to my body. He helped me understand how my mild scoliosis was affecting me and gave me helpful exercises.
I have worked with Andrew 5 or 6 times over the last decade, as various issues have needed attention. Andrew came highly recommended by a work colleague for a neck injury and they were absolutely right! I had a herniated disk in my lower back and the other PT groups I went to treated us all the same with no personalized evaluations or exercises. Andrew on the other hand was thorough in assessing my pain and my ability from the beginning, and got me from barely walking across the kitchen to loving long walks, hiking and riding a bike again. He also diagnosed that my pain may have started from weak hips and contacted my doctor- who confirmed I had limited range of motion in my hips. Andrew worked with me weekly for almost 2 years on my back and hips until covid hit. The sessions ranged from deep tissue massages, to stretching to strengthening exercises- even jumping squats (which I still hate!). Till this day I do the exercises regularly and have had no reoccurring issues with my back. I do and would highly recommend Andrew Harnett.
Andrew Harnett is the very best! He’s been my PT for 2-3 years (I have MS) and over that time he has changed my life. His knowledge of the body is extraordinary. He is intelligent, kind and gentle, and will quickly diagnose your problem and set a plan to resolve it. I cannot begin to tell you what an expert he is. Got an issue? He’s the man!
Dr Andrew Harnett is a wonderful practitioner. He helped me regain full use of my knee after a serious fracture. He quickly discerned the issues that needed attention, and was focused and caring in his treatment. I have returned to him periodically over the years for consultation (I now live in another state), and have sent others to see him. Highly recommended!
I can't speak highly enough about Andrew. There are many PT's out there but so few with the dedication and follow-up he shows on a daily basis. I started working with him when I was 35 and I am now 53 -- through the years I have had shoulder, back and knees issues that he has expertly gotten me through. Andrew understands the body so well that his treatments always lead to improvement quickly, the man is brilliant. And the best part is that he is a great guy with a warm personality, I'm lucky to know him.
He is excellent and well informed! His therapy was key in guiding me through a recovery of a debilitating lower back injury.
My daughter and I first met Dr Harnett when my late husband's brain cancer had returned. He taught us how to aid my husband's balance and how to relax his tight muscles. His care let us provide activity and comfort to my husband in the last year of his life. More recently he treated me after a bicyclist ran a red-light, ran me down cracked three of my ribs and made breathing painful. Dr. Harnett's treatment completely fixed it. He has always been very clear about his directions which he gives both during the session and after in an email.
fantastic, very smart, improved my shoulder!
My wife and I have both been patients of Andrew and we want to give our most enthusiastic recommendation. We've never met a physical therapist who is so dedicated and willing to go the extra mile for his patients and who practices with such knowledge and integrity. I had an intractable Achilles heel issue and had been to several therapists -- and through a lot of frustration -- before seeing Andrew. He was the only one who was able to make a significant difference. Ditto for some tendonitis in my forearms. My wife meanwhile also had some shoulder and back issues while she was pregnant with our son. Not only did Andrew address these, but he became an invaluable source of tips on childbirth and parenting! He is an excellent human being in addition to being a top-notch professional. Can't recommend highly enough - thanks Andrew!
Andrew is an excellent PT, very personable and highly knowledgeable in many areas of his field. I first worked with him a few years ago when I tore a calf muscle playing tennis. Thanks to Andrew, I was up and running weeks later. Recently, he treated me post a broken wrist and I am fully recovered. Could not recommend him enough!
My first suggestion to someone needing PT is °look no further°.. Andrew Harnett is THE BEST!!! I had surgery for a very broken foot, lots of titanium was inserted to fix it and I was not allowed to put weight on it for 4 months... then thank heavens!! Andrew came and did everything perfectly so that I could walk again. I now walk at least 12,000 steps a day and play lots of golf. He is amazing!!
Oh hello. I have been in the care of Dr. Andrew Harnett for the treatment of my Primary Progressive MS for several years now. My condition is chronic and continually debilitating. There is no doubt in my mind that without Andrew’s positivity, custom-tailored PT program, and professionalism in my corner; I would be in much worse shape than I find myself in today. I’d like to share a true story. When my MS doctor first met Andrew to discuss my future treatment options, he was so impressed with Andrew’s deep knowledge of my disease history that he offered him a job right on the spot! Andrew declined, feeling he could make more of a difference with his private practice.
Andrew is a rare breed of physical therapist. He provides one-on-one PT, in your home, which is as good a set of as anyone could ask for. He's more knowledgeable, thorough, and out-and-out talented than any therapist I've ever met. He's also incredibly kind and a great listener. He WILL get to the bottom of what's ailing you. I'm still doing exercises he gave me to combat sciatica years ago--they work. Connecticut, you are lucky to have Andrew Harnett to call when you need PT.
Andrew makes home visits at my convenience which is very helpful. He is very knowledgeable. I feel that he listens to me and reads my body’s language very accurately He has helped me with issues relating to my back, neck, hips and Achilles’ tendons.
The quality of therapy Andrew offers exceeds all expectations. Andrew listens and is resourceful. Not only has Andrew helped me gain strength and mobility after multiple surgeries, but he has offered significant spiritual morale. Andrew takes a personal interest in ones recovery. He is both professional and takes genuine care of his patients .
Dr. Harnett is in a class of his own. I had a tough and long recovery from a rare condition, and where other PT's did the 'standard' things, Dr. Harnett took extra time to develop a custom goal-oriented program. He took my emotional and mental well-being into consideration, and because he saw me in my home, we were able to figure out practical ways to modify activities that otherwise would have been painful or difficult to execute when I was recovering. Dr Harnett is a caring and adept PT and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for patient-centered approach to physical therapy.
He is the best.
Dr. Andrew Harnett is a phenomenal PT. He is truly a healer. He takes proper time to understand the pain you are in and he is fully committed to your recovery - both through manual work and detailed exercises. He is a lovely person and a magician at his job! He has helped me recover from numerous issues and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Dr. Harnett is a master healer. His depth of knowledge is extraordinary, and his work as a PT has been essential in keeping me fit and healthy, recovering from injuries and teaching me how to avoid more. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Andrew is professional and personable. He is meticulous in how he assesses the root issue and in how he develops a plan to treat for both the short and long-term. Always on-time, always follows up with a detailed, tailored treatment protocol. Highly recommend.
Dr. Harnett is an extraordinary practitioner and I cannot recommend him enough. I'd been seeking treatment for jaw pain for years and had tried everything under the sun--he resolved the issue over just a few visits and I've been pain-free ever since. The same thing happened when he treated me for knee pain--I went from not being able to run at all to running five miles plus within a few months. He is caring, precise, knowledgeable, and truly one of the best.
Andrew is amazing! I had chronic hip pain for years after a traumatic ski injury. I am now pain free! He is great at figuring out the root of the problem and addressing it through body work, targeted exercises, and practical solutions on how to manage in everyday life. I highly, highly! recommend working with him.
Andrew is the absolute best physical therapist that I have ever had. Not only is he skilled and effective, but, importantly, he is patient, kind, and empathetic. I had significant pain in my back and legs, and he made it possible for me to walk like I used to, before the pain took over. Several years later, I am still grateful to him for being there when I thought that my condition was beyond repair. Thank you, Andrew, for changing my life.
Andrew is AMAZING. He knows about every bone, joint, ligament, muscle, tissue, you name it in your body and how they all connect - and will explain to you what’s going on. He is excellent at customizing and modifying therapy to suit your specific needs. I’ve never met a more observant doctor than Andrew.
