About Anna Fern-Buneo

Dr. Fern-Buneo is a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University, a Master’s degree in Motor Learning from Columbia University–Teachers College, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hunter College (CUNY). She is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapy program at Northern Arizona University–Phoenix Bioscience Core Campus, where she teaches pediatrics. Anna’s clinical experience spans the full continuum of pediatric care, including roles at Phoenix Children’s, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Children’s Healthcare–Minneapolis, and Arizona Early Intervention. Anna’s clinical interests include developmental delay, high-risk infants, and children with complex medical needs. She serves as co-chair of the Arizona Physical Therapy Association Pediatric Special Interest Group and was named Arizona PT of the Year in 2025.
