“I’ve only had one session so far but Dr. Locascio seems very knowledgeable and capable. He is direct and to the point which could be off putting if you’re the type that prefers a soft spoken hand holder but honestly my last therapist was that way and I felt like it would take forever for us to make progress. I left the first session with two new resources to cope with anxiety already so I am feeling hopeful. He was also understanding and accommodating with regards to my FMLA forms. ”

Dr. Anthony Locascio, LPC, MA, NCC, PsyD, specializes in psychological and psychoeducational assessment, offering evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and cognitive functioning, and personality testing. He also conducts disability evaluations, functional capacity evaluations, mental competency evaluations, and court-ordered evaluations, providing clear, well-documented findings that support diagnosis, treatment planning, legal proceedings, and accommodations requests.
In addition to assessment services, Dr. Locascio offers psychotherapy for ADHD, anxiety, depression, addiction, bipolar disorder, grief, and relationship concerns, with a CAADC certification in addiction counseling. He holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a master's degree in Clinical Counseling and Applied Psychology from Immaculata University.

Psychotherapy sessions may be covered depending on your plan — please verify your benefits separately for testing vs. therapy services.
I do not offer medication management, I am not a prescriber, and I do not accept Medicaid or the Geisinger Family Plan.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I am fully licensed as an LPC in PA, AZ, and WV. I offer comprehensive psychological testing — including autism evaluations, intellectual/cognitive assessment, and personality testing — as well as psychotherapy. Testing services are self-pay and not submitted to insurance; psychotherapy is covered by many insurance plans.
