“Once I was able to locate the office (inside Equinox), check in was super easy with the virtual assistant. After all the paperwork was done we got right to it. Ashley was extremely welcoming, detailed in her responses and knowledgeable. The office is also clean and spacious. Glad I found this office and will definitely be returning for future sessions. ”

About Ashley Scoyni
Ashley graduated from Roanoke College in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science focusing on Health and Exercise Science. At Roanoke College Ashley played collegiate soccer for 4 years where she developed a likeness to working with athletes. Ashley later attended The University of Scranton to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. While attending The University of Scranton she volunteered at a Rocksteady Boxing Clinic to help fight back against Parkinson's Disease. While working at Rocksteady Boxing, Ashley had the opportunity to work with Parkinson's patients for several months to help maintain optimal functional for those diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Ashley has also published a Systematic Review alongside three other students focusing on "Wearable Sensors for Balance and Mobility in Adults with Parkinson's Disease". Their research was accepted into CSM National Conference and was a winner for the the DDSIG best poster award. During her clinical rotations she had the opportunity to work in an inpatient acute care setting at Northwell Hospital, an outpatient orthopedic setting at Professional Physical Therapy and in an outpatient pediatrics clinic at NYU. Throughout her clinical experiences she has had the opportunity to work with patients across the entire life-span ranging from infants to older adults. Ashley has been able to work with many neurological, cardiac and orthopedic patients across all clinical experiences. Ashley joined Professional Physical Therapy in 2022.

From the moment I got here, the entire staff made me feel welcome. Everybody is very friendly and cheerful. I have Ashley and she has been wonderful. With her not only being a fantastic PT, but a former Collegiate Athlete, she understands exactly what I need from a Therapy standpoint and any challenges I might have to deal with on the day to day. Could not recommend this place more.
