“For over 10 years, I never had a positive experience with physical therapy. Most treatments felt outdated, cookie cutter, and ultimately like a waste of time. That completely changed after one session with Dr. Baron Kim at Apex Physical Therapy and Performance Center.
I'm a bodybuilder and a 4 handicap golfer, and I take recovery as seriously as training and practice. Dr. Kim took the time to understand my goals, my training, and what I wanted from treatment: recover faster and perform better.
I came in with a lower lat strain, and after deep tissue/tendon work and shockwave therapy, the relief was nearly immediate. By the next day, despite some soreness from treatment, the actual pain was drastically reduced and nearly gone. I was so impressed that I returned two days later.
After 10+ years of skepticism, Dr. Kim completely changed my perspective on PT. Apex is now part of my weekly non negotiable recovery routine. I cannot recommend Dr. Kim and Apex highly enough.”

Dr. Kim was very quickly able to locate where pain originates from and lower the pain I was feeling. I cannot recommend his services enough!

I had been dealing with lumbar sciatica for nearly two years before I began treatment with Dr. Baron. He developed a personalized exercise program focused on strengthening the muscles supporting my lower back, which significantly helped alleviate my pain. After just two weeks of consistent physical therapy, I was able to return to the golf course pain-free. I’m grateful for his expertise and highly recommend his care

Working with Dr Baron Kim has been a wonderful experience. He’s knowledgeable, encouraging, and always takes the time to make sure I understand why im receiving what. His practice is also very close with a large parking lot at a golf range so it’s too convenient (especially cause i can swing my club right afterwards to test the results of the session). I’ve seen noticeable improvements and always leave feeling motivated. I highly recommend him (and already have) to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive PT

After dealing with a pinched neck, tight shoulders and traps that significantly effected my golf swing, Baron and Co. were able to offer not only exceptional treatment that immediately alleviated pain and increased range of motion - their action plan moving forward to ensure rehabilitation, improved performance, and longevity in my golf swing has convinced me that they offer the best-in-class service in the northern NJ area. For real athletes interested in improving their game, but also their overall health Dr. Baron is the best to offer!

I've been seeing Dr. Baron Kim for awhile now, and I can't recommend him enough. After my traumatic wrist injury, he used shockwave therapy to help break down years of scar tissue, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my mobility and function with every session.
Whenever I have shoulder pain or any other aches from golf or everyday life, Dr. Kim always knows exactly what to do. He quickly identifies the problem, explains everything clearly, and gets me feeling better faster than anyone else I've seen.
As a golfer, his knowledge of movement, performance, and injury prevention has been a huge advantage for my game. He genuinely cares about his patients, never rushes appointments, and always takes the time to make sure you're improving. If you're looking for a physical therapist who is knowledgeable, attentive, and truly invested in your recovery, I highly recommend Dr. Baron Kim.
