About Dr. Basem Mankerious

Dr. Basem Mankerious, PT, DPT, holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. He has been practicing in outpatient general orthopedics since 2012. Dr. Mankerious is highly skilled in the evaluation and treatment of general orthopedic dysfunctions. He demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and is credentialed through the APTA as a clinical instructor. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular rehab, and treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including disorders of the hip, knees, foot/ankle, shoulder, and spine. He opened Cornerstone Physical Therapy with his wife in 2019. Since then, he has had a massive positive impact on the community, helping many patients regain function and return to doing the things they love. Dr. Mankerious enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He leads an active lifestyle year-round. A former collegiate soccer athlete, he still enjoys playing in recreational leagues. He also plays guitar and leads worship at his local church. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking in his garage and biking.
