Getting to know Dr. Bianca Previdi

My name is Bianca Previdi, M.D. I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist practicing in Center City Philadelphia. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, completed my Doctor of Medicine at Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University, and finished my residency in psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, I trained in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. If you are looking for a therapist, I assume there is something about yourself you would like to change or improve. I offer comprehensive psychiatric treatment for adults struggling with a variety of mental health concerns and seek to provide an individualized approach to treatment through therapy and/or medications. I tend to work with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, difficulties in relationships, and I also have experience supporting pregnant and postpartum women.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am trained in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. I believe we often repeat patterns in our lives that are no longer helpful to us and can cause problems in our current relationships. For those interested in therapy, we can work to find these patterns of thinking or behaving and develop strategies for change. I desire to truly understand the person seeking my help and collaborate to guide the healing process.
