About Blake Risher

Blake Risher is a native of Blythewood, SC. He first discovered the profession of physical therapy during high school as a track and cross country athlete managing injuries of his own. Pursuing this profession strikes the perfect balance between staying involved in athletics and serving the community. Blake graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in May 2019. After working in a clinic and gaining valuable experience in the physical therapy profession for one year, he continued his education and earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Methodist University in May 2023. Blake has worked with a variety of patient populations and medical diagnoses within outpatient orthopedics. He looks forward to working at ProMotion, helping motivated individuals return to the activities they enjoy. When he is not at the clinic, Blake enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, weightlifting, and competing in pickleball tournaments. He is excited to explore the town of Camden and play a vital role in making ProMotion the therapy provider of choice in the area.
