Growing up playing sports for as long as I can remember, and enduring injuries of my own, orthopedic injuries have always been of special interest to me. My dad being a physical therapist taught me a lot about biomechanics and anatomy, but once I was introduced to Occupational/ Hand therapy I knew this was my niche as it is a unique field where science and compassion collide. After playing women’s lacrosse for 4 years and being a part of sport leadership committees at the University of Scranton, I pursued my master's at Seton Hall University. I worked as an aide in hand therapy at professional physical therapy in 2022 as a graduate student prior to completing fieldwork with professional physical/ hand therapy in 2023, followed by fieldwork at St. Joseph’s Medical Center Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Surgical trauma ICU, ER, and orthopedics. I am dedicated to establishing a therapeutic rapport with all patients and helping people achieve optimal recovery in order to enhance quality of life.

About Bridget Lalley
