About Dr. Bryan Baker

After graduating from Springfield College, Bryan began his career in outpatient physical therapy, where he quickly developed a passion for working with active individuals and athletes. This early experience led him to pursue a career specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. During residency, Bryan gained extensive experience working in Division I athletics while further developing his clinical expertise through advanced coursework in concussion management, manual therapy, and the clinical management of complex shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot/ankle injuries. Outside of sports rehabilitation, Bryan has a passion for healthcare innovation, exploring the role of technology in healthcare, and clinical leadership. Following completion of residency in 2022, Bryan and his wife, Liane, moved to Washington, D.C., where he played a key leadership role in expanding MedStar Health's sports rehabilitation services across the region. In 2023, Bryan was promoted to Regional Director, overseeing four outpatient facilities across the DMV while also serving as the lead physical therapist for Georgetown University Athletics. In 2026, Bryan and Liane welcomed their second daughter and returned to Connecticut, where he is excited to bring his experience in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, clinical leadership, and innovation to Ivy Health. We are proud to open the inaugural Ivy Sports Complex at Champions Ice Rink in Cromwell. Bryan looks forward to partnering with local physicians and referring providers to provide exceptional care to the local community.
