Occupational Therapist
691 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, NJ
Carlie Corrigan grew up immersed in the world of softball, playing from a young age through her collegiate years. Her passion for the sport took an unexpected turn in high school when she sustained a hand fracture and received occupational therapy. That experience sparked a deep interest in hand therapy and ultimately shaped her career path. Carlie went on to attend Sacred Heart University, where she completed the five year Occupational Therapy program and became a member of the Pi Theta Epsilon OT Honor Society. She completed her Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with Professional Physical Therapy and continued to support the organization as an OT aide while preparing for her certification exam. Carlie loves the field of hand therapy because of the essential role our hands play in everyday life. She is passionate about helping people return to the individualized activities they love and achieving meaningful goals. Supporting patients as they regain strength, mobility, and confidence is what drives her commitment to the profession. She is also dedicated to advancing her clinical skills and has aspirations of becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Outside of her professional pursuits, Carlie enjoys exercising, traveling, and coaching softball.
