She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023 at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania before returning to the Raleigh area. During her time at NC State, Carlie competed as a Division 1 diver and also gained experience coaching for youth club diving teams. Her personal background also includes experience as a competitive swimmer and gymnast. Since being in the clinic, Carlie has gained experience with a wide range of orthopedic issues and develops personalized plans for each patient focused around their goals and daily activities. She uses multiple techniques, including dry needling, manual therapy, cupping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and sacroiliac joint reduction techniques to create a hands-on experience that best suits each patient. She also incorporates education on how to maintain their improved state of being and the prevention of future recurrences. When outside the clinic, Carlie enjoys relaxing with her husband, Charlie, and their dog, Blue, hanging out with friends, gardening and trying new recipes.
