About Dr. Carly Oltmanns

Carly was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she was active in competitive gymnastics as well as hurdling and sprint relays in track. When she was beginning high school, her father suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury while boogie boarding in the ocean. Watching his treatment, therapy, and recovery gave Carly a deep desire to pursue a career in physical therapy. In 2017, Carly graduated Phi Kappa Phi with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion with an emphasis in Exercise and Health from Oklahoma State University. In college, Carly was an active member of the Chi Omega Sorority where she participated in leadership and community activities. In May 2020, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. While completing her clinical education, she discovered her passion for outpatient orthopedics, geriatrics, and neurological rehabilitation. In her free time, Carly enjoys working out, cooking, hiking, watching Oklahoma State University football and basketball, and spending time with friends and family.
