About Casey Arceneaux
Casey Sosthene Arceneaux is from Ridge, Louisiana, born to Wayne and Nelly Arceneaux. He is a 1997 Acadiana High Wreckin’ Ram graduate, recognized as a scholar athlete and selected Ram of the Year by the AHS faculty. He began his journey to becoming a Physical Therapist after tearing his ACL playing high school football. Following reconstructive surgery, he relied on a physical therapist for post-surgical rehabilitation. He saw how crucial the role of his physical therapist was to regaining function and mobility in his knee, enabling him to continue an athletic lifestyle and everyday movement.
He continued his education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (Geaux Cajuns), earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine, initially aiming for a career in athletic training. After college, he worked in a hospital setting, where he saw the PT/rehabilitation needs of a broad community—from young pediatric patients to the elderly—who needed training, support, and plans to regain strength, mobility, and physicality. This experience affirmed his desire to serve patients from all walks of life and brought him back to physical therapy.
He pursued his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and has loved every aspect of serving patients as a physical therapist ever since! Patients describe Casey as an honest, patient-centered, and charismatic provider. His compassionate and authentic demeanor makes patients feel at ease during treatment and shows he truly cares.
