Dr. Cathryn Pecson is an experienced Physical Therapist with extensive clinical experience in both the Philippines and the United States. Dr. Pecson earned her Physical Therapy degree from the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of Montana in 2020. She began her career at Medical Center Muntinlupa in the Philippines, providing both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services, and also gained valuable experience in home health rehabilitation. Since practicing in the United States, Dr. Pecson has worked in multiple outpatient rehabilitation settings, including Pain and Spine Specialists of New York, PT of the City, Theradynamics Physical & Occupational Therapy, and Complete Physical Therapy. Through these diverse clinical experiences, she has treated a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, chronic and acute pain, post-surgical conditions, and functional mobility impairments. Her clinical approach incorporates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, strengthening, mobility training, and individualized patient education. Dr. Pecson is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through the Norton School of Lymphedema, with specialized experience treating lymphedema, lipedema, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and cancer-related lymphedema.
