Getting to know Charles Perry
Do you find yourself replaying social interactions long after they are over? Maybe you notice you have been canceling dates last minute due to overwhelming nerves. Or perhaps you find yourself ruminating about the mistakes you think you made at work. Anxiety can take many forms, but no matter the form, it can be absolutely paralyzing. Anxiety can rob us of our joy and our ability to live life the way we want to. I help clients begin to identify and confront their fears in a safe, yet challenging environment. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University, which equips me to support clients through these struggles with empathy and expertise.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I AM IN NETWORK WITH AETNA AND OFFER OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS FOR ALL OTHER PPO PLANS.
I don’t adhere to any strict or particular therapeutic style, and instead focus on finding what works for you. We will explore the inner workings of your world, while simultaneously taking practical, actionable steps to make the changes you are looking for in your life.
If you are unsure about what to expect and if therapy can be beneficial for you, you are not alone. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so you can ask questions, get a feel for my personality and see if we would be a good fit. Sessions are $175, but I work on a sliding scale. I also accept Cigna, United Health, Oscar, Aetna and Oxford.

Charles is always professional and always on time. He has never kept me waiting. He allows me to set the tone for our sessions and is not judgmental. I am seeing an improvement in my OCD. It doesn’t hold be back as much and I feel like I’m getting back to my old self. Would highly recommend.
