About Dr. Charlotte Salgado
Charlotte earned her Bachelor of Science at Saint Joseph’s University in 2001, with a double major in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Health Services, and a Minor in Biology She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Temple University in 2005 Her experience includes treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions Her didactic experience is grounded in a strong foundation of comprehensive medical care from her first five years as a physical therapist in an inpatient acute care setting She worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center in cardiopulmonary physical therapy, inpatient neurology, medical-surgical units, and the Acute Care for Elders Unit She has spent her remaining years in physical therapy practice with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy She also has a background in management and served as the clinic director for Emory Rehabilitation for eight years Charlotte emphasizes hands-on care to improve quality of life, combined with patient education and prescribed movement She uses her manual skills to provide, as needed, dry needling, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, manual stretching, and massage She is trained in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for assessment and management of spinal and extremity musculoskeletal disorders She also utilizes the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy approach for manual therapy to restore joint and physiological kinematics She is certified in dry needling and ergonomic assessments Additionally, she is proficient in gait and running evaluations, performs annual musculoskeletal health assessments, provides vestibular rehabilitation, and is trained to identify, diagnose, and treat movement difficulties Charlotte is also a Credentialed Clinical Instructor with the American Physical Therapy Association Charlotte lives in Marietta and is a mother of three.

Charlotte is an amazing PT! I suffered a traumatic orthopedic injury. Every session with Charlotte has reduced my pain, and swelling and improved my motion. I have a long way to go in my recovery and rehab and feel so fortunate to have this clinic and therapist.

Charlotte Salgado is an Exceptional Therapist!
I've been seeing Charlotte for a seriously painful heel spur since November 2022. I worked for a almost a year in excruciating pain
and after working for about 3 months (Following all her instructions)
I can see a way to healing and have went for a 11+ pain level to a 4+.
I'm evening running up to 15 mins now. I haven't been able to run since
2016. I'm humbled and amazed at her dedication to help and create a personal program for each individual patient. I will forever recommend to anyone for her incredible service.
You company is lucky to have her!
