Corey Casey, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
196 Boston Ave, Ste 3000, Medford, MA
After dancing competitively for 15 years, I developed a passion for movement, which inspired me to pursue a career in physical therapy to help people keep moving. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Nutrition from Franklin Pierce University before completing my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at MGH Institute of Health Professions. I started working with Professional Physical Therapy in 2022 as an exercise tech prior to starting physical therapy school. During my time at MGH IHP, I completed two clinical rotations at Professional Physical Therapy, where I discovered my passion for outpatient orthopedics and the opportunity to build relationships with patients while supporting them throughout their PT journey. I also completed a clinical rotation at Salem Hospital in the acute care setting, treating patients on post-operative orthopedic and general medicine units. Additionally, while in PT school, I participated in a service-learning trip to Guatemala, where I provided education and treatment to individuals in the communities of Canillá and Quiché. This experience allowed me to work with a diverse patient population, from pediatric to geriatric patients, with both orthopedic and neurological conditions. In September 2026, I will begin a post-doctoral certificate program through the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy to further advance my clinical skills. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy going to new coffee shops, taking my dog, Birdie, for walks, and spending time down the Cape.
