About Dr. Daeseon Kim
Dr. Kim believes that the body is an interconnected system. His treatment approaches are designed to not just alleviate pain but to tackle its root causes. Rather than fixating solely on the surface symptoms of discomfort, his aim is to delve deeper, unraveling and resolving the underlying complexities.
He is an NYS licensed Physical Therapist who received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of North Georgia and has been specializing in orthopedics both at recreational and professional levels ever since.
He uses advanced Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy to remove adhesions and scar tissues. He is also certified in Vestibular rehabilitation.
He has a diverse background to draw upon. He has practiced in a Neurological rehabilitation center, working for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, GBS, spinal cord injury, Parkinson and geriatric patients.
He also has experience in aquatic therapy and postoperative rehabilitation such as Hip Arthroscopy, ACL, PCL reconstruction, Meniscus repair, Rotator cuff repair, Shoulder Replacement, Knee Replacement, and Hip Replacement. He has also worked with patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
Daeseon can handle every case but has a special interest in treating spine and disc-related pathology, believing that it is reversible with specific therapeutic exercise, posture correction, and his unique manual techniques drawn from the osteopathic philosophy.
He always tries to find the best way for each client to restore the highest possible level of function and puts his heart into every case.

Daeseom is amazing. He does myofascial release on my lower back. It's the first time in 3 years that my back has felt this kind of relief!! After just 2 sessions I have been able to start working out again. Spasm and pain free!!! Also, he is super friendly.

Dae is great!! When I started seeing him. I had a lot of pain in my back and I really wasn't convinced I would get back to normal. Luckily, I was wrong and he was able to fit me in and get my movement back!

Daeseon was excellent to work with. I received physical therapy for a chronic hamstring issue and was pretty skeptical going in due to the long term pain. He addressed my issue immediately and worked with me to resolve other minor pain issue as well. A few weeks into PT my pain issues were gone, and I now have the tools to keep them from coming back again. I highly recommend him if you have chronic exercise-related issues and need a new approach.

I came in to see Daeseon to fix some shoulder pain I had developed, and it turned in to a much more comprehensive approach. Other PTs I've seen in the past just asked what hurt, did a few exercises for a few weeks then sent me on. Turns out I had a lot of other imbalances and he has jumped into in a much more holistic approach with fantastic results.
