About Dr. Dana Hindman

Dana became interested in physical therapy through her upbringing with a neighbor who was a physical therapist for a famous NY sports team and her father who is an orthopedic surgeon. She is an implant from Connecticut but never left Massachusetts after she fell in love with Boston during her schooling. She successfully went through physical therapy herself for her knees as a high school dancer and skier. She began her career at Mass General Sports Medicine clinic and worked there for 6 years prior to moving into an outpatient orthopedic setting. She has been working for 12 years and really enjoys working with populations of all ages. Her interests including working with postpartum women with orthopedic conditions and athletes with post-surgical needs. Dana lives locally with her husband, two kids under 3 and a high-maintenance poodle mix named Xander. In her very limited free time, she enjoys weight training, dancing, hiking, reading and watching the Red Sox.
