I got injured in a HIIT class at my local gym, leaving me with a pain level of ten. Despite continuing workouts at home and the gym, I managed to reduce the pain to a four but then hit a plateau. For me, anything less than a pain level of zero was just not good enough. After watching Danny on IG, I decided to book a session. We had an online consultation, and the progress has been amazing. Most of my PT sessions are virtual! I've only had one in-person session with Danny. Can't believe what I was able to achieve online.

After completing my 6-week PT program, I'm amazed at how much I've achieved in such a short time. I was skeptical about the effectiveness of Zoom PT sessions, but they turned out to be surprisingly effective. Danny's encouragement and positive energy were key factors in my progress.

For over 15 years, I battled with chronic back pain. After trying physical therapy, doctors eventually told me it was a condition I'd have to live with forever. After just the first visit, my back felt incredibly better! It's been several months since my last session, and my back is still in fantastic shape! I can now walk, bend, lie down, stand, sit, and even dance without any pain. Dr. Danny has significantly enhanced my quality of life!

Danny is not just an exceptional physical therapist, but also an incredible person. For 7 years, severe lower spinal pain, exacerbated by my career in professional wrestling and weightlifting, left me with days I couldn't even get out of bed. Standing straight could trigger a nerve pinch in my back. Despite various treatments – doctors, chiropractors, decompression, epidurals – no one offered a real solution. I feared this pain would be my life. Then, a client recommended Danny. From our first consultation, I knew he genuinely cared and believed he could help me. Danny was confident he could fix my problem, a claim I was initially skeptical about. But after just one session, I felt relief in my back, something I hadn't experienced in years. Seven sessions in, and I've been pain-free, doing exercises like squats and deadlifts that I thought were in my past. They are, without a doubt, the best!

I'm incredibly grateful for Danny and his team. Three and a half years after my bilateral knee replacement, I was told by my initial physical therapy that I was "good enough." But that wasn't enough for me. From my first visit I felt welcomed. Danny listened intently to all my concerns and assured me I could achieve my goals and more. In just a few weeks, I've made astonishing progress, surprising even myself. I've run over 100 yards, and I'm doing squats, lunges, and balancing with greater stability and confidence. This newfound confidence has spilled over into all aspects of my life, and everyone has noticed the difference. Discovering Danny's IG page was a blessing; he's like a magician.

This has been a game-changer for me! When I started, I was dealing with daily chronic pain, relying on a back brace for almost everything (even driving), and felt like I was aging prematurely. I've been to other physical therapists where I wasn't the only client in the room, but with Danny, it's a completely different experience – his focus is entirely on you. He pays attention to every detail and knows exactly what he's doing! Before meeting Danny, I had endured seven years of physical therapy following knee surgeries, resigned to the belief that I'd always struggle with limited mobility, arthritis, and persistent knee pain. For two long years, I tried every treatment imaginable: traditional pain management with oral medications, spinal injections, prolozone injections, physical therapy (including two rounds of one-on-one sessions), chiropractic care, acupuncture, consultations with orthopedic surgeons, and even mentally preparing myself for surgery. I first discovered Dr. Danny on social media. Admittedly skeptical, I scheduled an evaluation, and thus began our journey together.
Danny is not only knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate and attuned to my needs. He treats me as a unique individual, facing each day and its challenges, whether good or bad, head-on. The journey has been, and continues to be, a tough one, both physically and mentally. Yet, through every intense flare-up, Danny has stood by my side, refusing to give up on me. My case is very complex and words cannot explain how much better I feel between day 1 and present day.

The team and the service at PPT are absolutely phenomenal! I was dealing with severe knee pain, to the point where surgery seemed like the only option.
Deciding to meet with Danny after following him on Instagram was the best decision I could have made. He filled me with hope and motivation from our very first meeting.

Initially, I was quite hesitant to try a new physical therapist due to some past negative experiences. Approaching Danny, I was filled with a mix of fear, intimidation, and pain. I'm thoroughly impressed with Danny and the team at Project PT. I was dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck that caused me alot of problems with weakening muscles to the point I couldn't hold things in my arm. As a boxer, I've put in countless hours of training, which unfortunately led to an injury. I went through a series of physical therapists, but none could really help – it was always the same disappointing routine of massages, electric stimulation, and exercises that didn't seem to do much. Then I came across Danny at Project Physical Therapy. I decided to give it one more try and teamed up with him. To my amazement, after just ONE session with Danny, I felt a tremendous improvement, and the pain that had plagued me for years started to fade. Dr. Danny and his team are awesome! Very supportive and they actually listened to my concerns. Another dr told me I needed surgery to run again. But thanks to Dr. Danny I was able to run in the NYC marathon, without the surgery! And post run I feel great! Couldn’t be happier!

I’ve never met anyone more attentive than Dr. Shapiro. He made sure I felt comfortable and welcome.
The front desk staff is friendly, and they even have a beverage/snack menu!
Being here made me feel secure and took some worries about my pain away, not to mention also taking awa the actual pain itself.

My experience with Dr. Danny was incredible. I've seen my primary, osteopath, 1 chiropractor, and 2 other physical therapists before finding Project Physical Therapy. This was the only place that actually listened and understood what was going on with me. I never thought I'd be able to run or work out normally again, but I'm back in the gym 5 days a week and am so excited for the upcoming ski season (this was impossible for the last 4 years)!

I’ve been seeing Danny for years and don’t even want to think about the state my body would be in if it weren’t for him. He’s an amazing physical therapist and has helped get me to a point where I feel great- no pain, no discomfort, no concerns about the health of my body. It is very clear how much he genuinely cares and he is very enjoyable to work with - he makes you feel comfortable from the second you walk in the door and makes sure you leave feeling better than when you came in.

I can’t be more than happy to find PT center and Danny . I feel so much better physically after completing some sessions with him. The service is premium and Danny will make sure your pain is gone. I’m more conscious about my body and how to help myself at any place if there’s a signal of the pain. I totally recommend to try PT center and Danny!

Danny is amazing. He is as funny and caring as he is knowledgeable. His “melting” technique when it comes to pain is really effective and so different than any other therapist I’ve encountered. I will never go anywhere else for PT.
