Dr K was very knowledgeable and thorough, he spent a great amount of time on every muscle, tendon and ligament of my knee to identify where the issue was.

Dan is absolutely amazing. I had sustained a knee injury during a professional competition and needed physical therapy. I was told by another physical therapist that I would need anywhere from two to three months of therapy. Dan told me me six weeks as after our consultation. With his therapy I saw results in less than a month and I'm back to competition. Highly recommend Dan to anyone who needs physical therapy.
This is, without question, the absolute best PT office and staff you can ever find. They are patient, thorough and take the time to explain everything including the process and goals which was unbelievably helpful for me. They have a clear plan to help mend your injuries and it always works. This is the only office I would ever go to.
Had a rotator cuff tear during sports and lost about 40% of range of motion. Worked with Dan over the next nine months and regained 95%+ of mobility at the end of the program. This experience completely changed my view of the efficacy of PT. Dan is courteous, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Dan gave me a realistic assessment of situation at the outset of the program, spent ample time working with me during each session, and gave me take home exercise for additional training. While most of this program happened in-person, a small portion took place virtually as a result of the pandemic. Dan came up with creative ways to adapt the program for a home setting. All in all, highly recommended for anyone needing PT!
For the last numbers of years, I have worked with Daniel Tahany on three different areas (knee/hip/neck). In each case, he able to analyze the problem and prescribe exercises to gain strength and mobility. He also is a wizard at manipulating problem muscles during the visit. I have recommended him to a number of people and everyone reported that they received excellent care.
I compete in Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, injuries are unfortunately a part of the sport. While fight sports are an individual endeavor, no one steps foot into a ring or mat without a strong team working with and supporting them. Dan and his team at City PT have been an integral part of my fight camps and preparation for some of my biggest events. I just wanted to share some of my experiences working with Dan and his amazing team at City PT to express my gratitude for the work that they do. Leading up to IFMA World Championships in 2017, Dan treated me for my left knee and ankle injury. Through intensive PT work with Dan and his team I fully recovered, just in time to fight in NYC and then twice in Belarus. During the Worlds I sustained a shoulder injury and could barely extend my left arm. Panicking because the Pan American Championships were in 5 months, I immediately went to City PT after the Worlds to work with Dan. Through Dan’s help I was able to recover enough strength and mobility to win a gold medal at the Pan American Championships. I am so grateful to everyone at City PT for everything they have done to help me get better and stronger so I could achieve my goals. Currently I am back in physical therapy at City Pt with Dan after sustaining an injury to my right knee during Salsa dancing. After working with them for so many years I have no doubt that I will soon be back on the mats, stronger, more mobile, and more flexible. I recommend City PT to all of my students and anyone I come across dealing with a nagging or recent injury. They have helped and taught me so much and they can help you too. Don’t hesitate to book your appointment!
Dan and the entire team at City PT are spectacular. I have (unfortunately) had to do a lot of physical therapy for sports injuries in my life and have seen a lot of physical therapists over the years, but none are as skilled, kind, and engaged as Dan. I've gotten highly personalized care and undivided attention at every appointment, and the results speak for themselves - Dan gets me back in action for triathlons, obstacle course races, and half-marathons in no time. I can't recommend Dan and his team highly enough.
Love this PT practice, Daniel and the staff are very knowledgeable and overall awesome. They actually cares, it shows, and you can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend, specially if you are an athlete and/or suffered a sports injury.

I appreciate a PT place that operates after the typical corporate 9-5 hours. His office was clean and staff were very friendly, personable, and full of information. They helped me with my issue and gave me exercises to practice as home that helped relieve and loosen the pain i was experiencing.

Dan is a really professional therapist. He is really knowledge and listen to my situation. He provides me thoughtful plan & help me solve my issue. I go there regularly and i can feel my neck is not hurt as before. Highly recommend Dan.
Each visit is a step closer to restoring function. Great one to one, oversight, caring and a attentive staff-always challenging in the right ways. Recommand!
Very good and effective. It can be a slow process. But you need to be patient and not give up if you don't see immediate result. You will see the Improvement if you keep up it.
Friendly atmosphere. Makes PT enjoyable.
