Dr. Wallenstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master's in Exercise Physiology from Ithaca College, as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercy College. He has over a decade of experience in sports medicine, health sciences, and human performance. He has worked as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist with athletes of all ages and skill levels, ranging from middle school club sports participants to NCAA athletes to centenarians. Dr. Wallenstein is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association, the American Physical Therapy Association's Orthopedic, Sports, and Geriatric sections, and the Academy of Professions for Health Promotion Therapies. He strongly believes in exercise for wellness, longevity, and health, and is certified in the Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Additionally, he has experience in industrial, tactical, and emergency medicine from his time working as a Firefighter/EMT and serving in the United States Marine Corps.
