Getting to know Dr. Debra Hill
**Dr. Hill is out of network with all insurances. Although she does not accept payment directly from insurance, an invoice is provided at each visit for patients to submit for reimbursement. Payment is due in full at the time of service.**

Debra A. Hill, M.D., graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at UC Irvine Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, residency in Psychiatry at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UC Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Hill is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Psychoanalyst. Her practice focuses on Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. She may prescribe medications as an adjunct to therapy but does not provide medication management alone when patients see another provider. She offers comprehensive, individualized care using a bio-psycho-social and psychodynamic approach.
Payment is due at the time of service. VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Debit Card, and Check are accepted. Dr. Hill provides a Super Bill at each visit to assist patients in submitting claims for prompt insurance reimbursement. Offices are located in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our first visit together will be to discuss your primary concerns, your past life and medical history, and your expectations regarding treatment, as well as previous experiences with mental health treatment.I do not prescribe any medications on the first appointment.
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $425 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $325 for 45 minutes
More information on payments and coverage
Payment in full is due in advance of your first appointment. Patients may pay by Check, Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover, or Health Equity Card. I will provide you with a Superbill, at your request, so that you may submit it to your Insurance Company for them to reimburse you. It is up to you to contact your Insurance Company to find out how much they will reimburse you. Insurance will not reimburse for missed appointments. I generally see patients on a weekly basis for psychotherapy.
