Our lives are made up of relationships. When those relationships are peaceful and balanced, we thrive. When they're strained and dysfunctional, we struggle. That's why I'm passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger relationships. As their therapist, my goal is to ensure that my clients build the skills they need to handle life's challenges and obstacles with grace so that they can show up for one another in meaningful ways. I use a narrative therapy approach to guide clients. Through language and story, I help my clients identify and step back from the issues that are causing problems in their relationships. Through establishing a shared understanding of how these issues arise, my clients are able to develop strategies that work to "fight back" against the problem. There is a quote that says, "A therapist is someone who joins you n the darkness with a light to help you find your way out."
