About Devora Alexander

As a child, I spent a lot of time around my grandparents. Both of my grandfathers had neurological disorders that required physical therapy. I witnessed numerous sessions with their physical therapists, and watching my grandfathers accomplish things during therapy that I had never seen them do on their own was eye-opening. This experience inspired me to pursue a career as a physical therapist. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the City University of New York, Queens, and went on to complete my Doctor of Physical Therapy at the Touro College and University System. These educational experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to help patients improve their quality of life, just as my grandfathers did through therapy.
