Dr. Diane A. DiCarlo, DAc., LAc., LMT. Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) has been working in the field of holistic healing for almost 20 Years. Her path began with the study and formal training in Reiki, culminating in receipt of her third degree, and Master/Teacher Certification. In 2009, Diane expanded her holistic education through the completion of her Associates degree in Occupational Studies and received her New York State license in Massage Therapy where she focused on Chronic Pain Management and Acute Soft Tissue Injury Care. While working in the massage field, Diane was inspired to further her education so she could bring together a more effective treatment for her clients. Treating them as an individual, not as a text book symptom In 2016 Diane completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Masters of Science in Acupuncture. With that, the dream of creating a healing center that address the “whole” person, tailoring the treatments to each individual. ..And Shen Balance was born Treating the whole person - Body, Mind and Spirit is a philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM offers a healing method thousands of years old. As an Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist she is all too aware of the part of the emotional body plays in our illnesses as well as our healing. She is certified by and a member in good standing with the National Guild of Hypnotists, and studied under Kelly Tallaksen, Board Certified Hypnotist and guest author of "The Art of Spiritual Hypnosis, Accessing Divine Wisdom" by C. Roy Heentes. Hypnosis is an amazing tool assisting with the removal of blockages open the self-up to love's awareness which is where all healing begins. Additionally, Diane has had the good fortune to attend classes with Brian L. Weiss M.D., and author of “Many Lives, Many Masters” and “Mirrors of Time" (to name a few) in the exciting study of Past life Regression Therapy.
