Getting to know Dr. Diane Weiss
**It is essential that we connect via phone or email PRIOR to any appointment confirmation, because I want each person only to have the best possible care. I prefer to do this with all new patients in order to increase the probability that you and I would be the right fit. I am an out of network provider.**
**Please Note: My schedule is more flexible than it appears online. We can look into alternative times or days which may work better for you during our pre-appointment communication.
During our sessions, we will work towards getting to the bottom of problems. When working with both new or current patients, I prescribe medication when necessary, but I do not see medication as either the primary nor the exclusive solution.
Dr. Weiss is an encouraging and innovative psychiatrist who emphasizes psychotherapy in her practice in Beverly Hills. She supports and assists her patients in finding the best in themselves to improve the quality and balance of their lives. She is eager to work with each person as hard as possible to find alternative solutions, using the least amount of medication, if any. In a collaborative process, Dr. Weiss will explore and apply the most beneficial and humanistic treatments, including clinical hypnosis.
Dr. Weiss is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She attended the Boston University School of Medicine to earn her medical degree. Dr. Weiss then completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of California at Los Angeles San Fernando Valley program.
