About Dr. Eduardo Pereira

Dr. Eduardo Pereira is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 20 years of clinical experience working with athletes, performing artists, musicians, and active professionals in New York City. Every session at Movement Performance PT is up to one full hour, one-on-one, with me: no aides, no hand-offs, no assembly line. Dr. Pereira uses the Physical Wellth Method™, a science-based framework that combines movement analysis, manual therapy, pain neuroscience, and the biopsychosocial model to treat the root cause of your problem: not just where it hurts. Dr. Pereira the contracted Physical Therapist at Manhattan School of Music, where I have provided clinical care to student musicians and performing artists since 2019. I am also trained in spinal and joint manipulation techniques, applied within my clinical scope as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and guided by evidence-based clinical prediction rules. Dr. Pereira works with people who cannot afford to be sidelined: runners, musicians, executives, dancers, and anyone who uses their body as a professional tool. His goal is not just to get you out of pain. It is to give you the knowledge and physical autonomy to stay that way. Dr. Pereira speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Please be advised Dr. Pereira is NOT in network with insurances. Patients with out of network benefits (PPO plans) are provided with a superbill. Initial visit: $275 Follow-up: $225

There is one word to describe Dr. Pereira - GENIUS, I have seen this after multiple surgeries (back issues, foot surgery, shoulder problem, lypomy surgery) He gets me back on my feet quickly at 78, I swim, do weights, and work F/T without him, did never leave my home.
