About Edward (Brady) O'Mara III

Brady O'Mara, the founder of Seven Summits Therapy & Fitness, graduated from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in 1997 with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fairfield University in 1986. Brady is a member in good standing with the American Physical Therapy Association, including its Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections, as well as the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. He and all staff are CPR certified, and Brady also holds First Aid certification. He has been featured in Advance for Physical Therapy and Main Line Today, along with several local newspapers such as the Philadelphia Inquirer, Suburban & Wayne Times, Main Line Times, and Daily Local News. In 2015, Brady was honored with the George F. Logue Founders Award by the Arcadia University Physical Therapy Alumni Association. This prestigious award, established in 1994, recognizes alumni and faculty who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in patient care, education, research, community service, contributions to the APTA, and support of the Arcadia University Physical Therapy Program. To date, only eleven individuals have received this highest honor. Brady’s athletic background includes football and baseball in high school and rugby in college before becoming a marathoner and outdoorsman. He completed nine marathons with a personal record of 3:04, one triathlon, and a 2,300-mile self-supported bicycle tour through the Rockies. After a severe knee injury in 1999 sidelined him from running for nearly five years, his marathon career ended. However, since starting a high-quality nutritional supplement regimen (USANA) in December 2005, he has returned to running 5K to 5-mile races at a sub-6:30 pace and continues to bike over 100 miles per week. His motto is simple: “If you rest, you rust!”
