About Edward Rodriguez

Edward K. Rodriguez is a New Jersey licensed Physical Therapist who joined the Northeast family in 2007. His experience has led him to treat a myriad of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, pre- and post-op surgeries, joint replacements, spinal conditions, hip/knee/ankle and shoulder/elbow/hand conditions, balance and gait dysfunctions, as well as sports-related injuries. His manual skills include various techniques in joint mobilization, stretching, and soft tissue manipulation. Though not a specialty, he is highly experienced in treating the shoulder. These combined with good, efficient exercise allow his patients to rise above their limitations and step back into their lives. A graduate of De La Salle University with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Ed has over 19 years of clinical experience in the rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and numerous orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient orthopedic environment. The growth of his knowledge and training is continuously manifested through CEU courses focused on various evidence-based treatments of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral spine, upper and lower extremities, as well as balance in both adolescent and geriatric populations. His most current certifications include, but are not limited to, STMT-C, Bio-Integrative Myofascial Release, and Utilizing Pilates Principles to Enhance Rehab Outcomes. He has a profound understanding of patients' ailments, an attentive eye to identify muscle and postural imbalances, and an esteemed ability to implement personalized, goal-oriented exercises. His passion is to provide quality care and patient education, which ultimately involves the restoration of flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and balance.
