About Dr. Edwin Gabriel Tello Salas
Originally from Virginia, Dr. Gabriel Tello Salas completed his undergraduate studies in Rehabilitation Science from George Mason University and earned his Physical Therapy Clinical Doctorate Degree from Shenandoah University. He is now a community leader in treating Orthopedic and Neurological conditions.
Gabriel believes in using evidence based practice and personalized treatment plans to help patients remain active and move without pain. Gabriel is certified in Dry Needling Level 1 and Dry Needling Level 2 and can provide services to the Lumbar Spine, Lower Extremity, and all Upper Extremity. Gabriel is Bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys helping his community.
During his free time, Gabriel teaches salsa dancing, coaches a soccer team, and spends time with his family.

I had a wonderful experience working with Dr. Salas at Respire. During training for a marathon, I injured my hip with only a few weeks to go before the race and was very worried I wouldn't be able to run. Dr. Salas immediately diagnosed the issue and provided excellent care to help alleviate my pain and strengthen the injured area. He carefully listened to my concerns and adapted the therapy to ensure I would be able to run the marathon. Every appointment was one on one for an entire hour; I was surprised by this as I previously have had PT from practices were the therapists were treating multiple patients at once and it was very rushed. This was the complete opposite. The environment was very relaxed and it was very easy to work with/schedule appointments at the practice. Overall, the care I received was exceptional at Respire. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Salas to anyone looking for physical therapy.

From the beginning, after explaining what was going on, my provider was able to pinpoint the issue and inform me of my treatment plan. It felt relieving that the provider knew exactly what my issue is and how to improve it. I say this having been seen before in another location. I actually feel heard here.
