About Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson was born and raised in Green Country, Oklahoma, with her parents and older brother. She earned her Associates of Science degree from Connors State College (CSC) in Warner Oklahoma. Following CSC, Emily moved on to attend the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. In 2006, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s in Physical Therapy. Emily has enjoyed working in outpatient orthopedics ever since. Completing a minimum of 5 years clinical experience, 4,000 hours or more of direct practice in hand therapy, and successfully passed a comprehensive exam of advanced clinic skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation, Emily is very proud to have earned her Certified Hand Therapist. She is also interested in Manual Therapy, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Spinal Rehabilitation. Emily loves that Physical Therapy is a meaningful profession that allows her to work with and impact people of all ages, backgrounds, personalities, and difficulties. In her free time, Emily and her husband love spending time with their two beautiful children. They enjoy participating in sprint triathlons, hiking, biking, snow skiing, lake fun, beach vacations, and home improvement projects.
