About Emily McGrath

I attended Franklin Pierce University, graduating in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in health sciences, and continued on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Franklin Pierce University in 2022. After attending physical therapy for an injury as a kid, I decided to pursue the profession. With numerous shadowing and clinical experiences, I realized the impact that physical therapy can have on quality of life at any age or functional level, which drew me to the outpatient orthopedic setting. Throughout graduate school, I was a high school field hockey coach and had multiple players in PT for injuries, which sparked my interest in return-to-sport training. In my first year with Professional Physical Therapy, I completed the Level 1 residency of the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, which greatly expanded my clinical skills in evaluation, manual therapy, and patient education.
