About Dr. Emily Saugen

Emily has been working as a PT since 2013 after she graduated from Concordia University. She started her career working in Lansing, MI treating patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, post –stroke and concussion as well as orthopedic injuries. She gained a great deal of experience working as part of a rehabilitation team which included physicians, OTs, SLPs, psychologists, orthotists and assistive technology professionals. She and her husband then moved back to WI where she continued her career with the Marshfield Clinic. There she worked in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic seeing all sorts of diagnoses from back and neck pain to shoulder injuries, knee pain, hip pain and foot and ankle dysfunctions as well as many various post-surgical injuries. She and her husband moved back to Cedarburg last summer and she is now excited to continue her PT career with a company that values the patient experience and putting the needs of the patient first.
