About Dr. Emma Strande

Emma grew up in rural western Kansas, giving her a unique understanding of the challenges that underserved populations often have in accessing healthcare. Since that time, she has developed a passion for serving Spanish-speaking patients and individuals struggling with pelvic health concerns. After high school, Emma attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she earned her B.A. in Athletic Training and a minor in Spanish. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) since 2012 and currently helps provide services for area high school football programs that do not have an athletic trainer on staff. Emma received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Wichita State University. During her time there, she was introduced to pelvic health rehabilitation, and immediately began her training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Since graduation, she has expanded her education through numerous courses in Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, and treatment of vestibular disorders, including post-concussion syndrome. In 2019, she achieved her board certification as a clinical orthopaedic specialist (OCS), denoting advanced knowledge and practice related to a range of orthopaedic conditions. Outside of the clinic, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two Labrador Retrievers. They moved to Collinsville in early 2019 and have loved the transition to living outside Tulsa proper.
