I started my career as a staff physical therapist in a PT-owned private practice in Littleton, CO. This was a fantastic location to begin my journey as an outpatient orthopedic PT. I worked with several experienced clinicians and took advantage of numerous professional education opportunities in and around the Denver area. I relocated to Grand Junction in 1994 and joined Hilltop, continuing to work with the outpatient orthopedic patient population while also serving as the PT for a multi-disciplinary outpatient pain program, collaborating with a nurse, OT, psychologist, recreation therapist, and physiatrist. I joined the St. Mary's team in 1995 and have been working as an outpatient orthopedic PT since then. Over the years, I have also served in various leadership roles, including clinical resource specialist, supervisor for the adult outpatient therapy team at St. Mary's Life Center, and more recently, as the Operations Manager for Outpatient Therapy at St. Mary's Life Center. Throughout my administrative time, I have always prioritized time with patients for clinical care. While I enjoyed working with an incredible team of caregivers in these administrative and leadership roles, I have discovered that providing direct patient care is my passion. I strive to provide individualized, high-quality, efficient care to all patients. What truly "fills my cup" is seeing patients meet and exceed their goals and expectations throughout the recovery process. I spent a number of my growing-up years in Carbondale, CO, after moving from Los Angeles, CA. It didn't take me long to appreciate the mountains, though I still miss the beach! I enjoy spending time with my family, including my wife Shari and our two sons, Brandon and Tyler. I also enjoy running (or jogging, to be more accurate!), golfing, and skiing.
