FREE Screening
We begin with a 30-minute screening conducted by our Clinical and Administrative Director, Carla (BCBA). This initial conversation helps us determine if your child could benefit from ABA therapy or if other interventions might be more appropriate.
Tailored Next Steps
If your child is a good fit for ABA therapy, Carla will help schedule a consultation with me. As both a Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I draw on over two decades of experience in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health to create personalized treatment plans.
Collaboration and Family Involvement
I value open communication with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals. This partnership ensures we stay aligned on goals, progress, and any adjustments that may be needed.
Services in Natural Environments
Although we’re based in Coral Gables, we can provide therapy in your child’s home, school, or community. Research shows kids learn best in familiar settings, so we make every effort to bring services right to them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
After determining that your child is a good candidate for our ABA therapy program, we must fulfill certain insurance requirements before starting services. Typically, your insurance will ask for a referral from a medical doctor (MD), indicating that ABA therapy is medically necessary. In addition, a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is needed—this can be done in our office or through another qualified provider.
Once we have the referral and the diagnostic evaluation in hand, we’ll gather all necessary documentation and confirm coverage with your insurance. At that point, we schedule your child’s appointment with Dr. Frank Perez Verdecia to begin the assessment and treatment process. Throughout each step, we maintain open communication, guiding and supporting you as we work to ensure your child receives the most effective, individualized care.
