“I was blown away by the service I received. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted and serviced right away. George was very professional and an exceptional listener. He explained everything he would be doing for treatment and made sure I was clear on the process before we started. My pain level going into the office was pretty high, however leaving the office on my first visit I can not thank this staff enough. I walked out with less pain then I had going in. I look forward to continuing my therapy here for the first time since my car accident I believe I'm in good care.”

About George Alecu

Dr. George Alecu, PT, DPT brings a wealth of international experience and a deep passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. Originally from Romania, I began my journey in physical therapy with a deep curiosity about the human body’s ability to heal and adapt. After earning my bachelor's degree in physical therapy, I moved to the United States to further my education, earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the College of St. Scholastica and continuing advanced studies at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Since 2017, I’ve been dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care to help my patients recover, restore function, and optimize their performance—whether they’re athletes, post-surgical patients, or individuals dealing with chronic pain, vestibular disorders, or orthopedic injuries. I specialize in shoulder rehabilitation, balance and vestibular therapy, sports performance enhancement, and chronic pain management. At Las Vegas Physical Therapy & Sports, my focus is on cutting-edge rehabilitation and innovative treatment options, including shockwave therapy, laser therapy, vestibular training, and customized sports performance programs. Every patient’s journey is unique, which is why I emphasize individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs, goals, and lifestyle. I believe that movement is medicine, and my goal is to help my patients regain confidence in their bodies, reduce pain, and maximize their potential—whether that means returning to sport, recovering from surgery, or simply improving daily mobility. If you’re looking for a hands-on, patient-centered approach to physical therapy, I’d love to help you move and feel better.
